Patna Women’s College Alumni Association mourns demise of Renuka Mishra

Jamshedpur, Nov 8: The Patna Women’s College (PWC) Alumni Association, Jamshedpur, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of its senior member, Renuka Mishra, who died on Monday in Jamshedpur.

Mrs. Mishra had been associated with the association for 35 years and had served in key roles, including Vice President and Joint Secretary. Known for her melodious singing, she was an active participant in the association’s cultural and social events.

At a condolence meeting, President Vidya Tiwari, Secretary Poonam Mehta, and senior members including Kanchan Singh, Manju Singh, Asha Sinha, Mikki Singh, Dr. Nidhi Srivastava, Mukul Rai, Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Renu Kumar, Sujata Kumar, and others offered floral tributes and shared fond memories of her contributions.

Members described Renuka as a warm, talented, and dedicated individual whose presence enriched every gathering. Her sudden demise has deeply saddened all who knew her.

Renuka’s husband, Subhash Chandra Mishra was retired senior officer of Tata Steel. Members of the association visited the bereaved family to offer their condolences and strength in this moment of sorrow.
