Jamshedpur: MGM Hospital is in news again for bad reasons. Recently, a patient had committed suicide by hanging himself in the medicine ward of the hospital. This time 18-year-old Reeti Singh, who was treated in the hospital jumped from the third floor of the hospital’s surgical ward and committed suicide. The incident took place late Tuesday night. The hospital management informed the family about the incident on Wednesday morning.
After receiving the information, Reeti’s father Santosh Singh reached the hospital and accused the hospital management of negligence in treatment. Giving information, the father of the deceased, Santosh said that he lives behind the cable company of Burmamines police station area and works in the cable company. On June 10, his son was admitted to MGM Hospital for a headache.
He was shifted from the emergency ward of the hospital to the surgical ward for three days. The doctor did not come to see him. The nurse herself used to give water and injections. After giving the injection, he used to start shaking hands and feet. That’s why he was worried. When they came to the hospital on Wednesday morning, they were informed that the son had committed suicide. If the hospital management had treated him properly, his son would have been alive today.
