Chaibasa, April 29: Brahman Samaj celebrated Parshuram Jayanti with fervour at Sri Satya Narayan Thakurbari temple on Saturday. Priests Raju Choube, Durganand Jhan and Promod Mishra conducted the rituals and prasad was also distributed among the devotees.
Speaking on the occasion Durganand Jhan said that Lord Prashuram is remembered as founder of Arya Sanskriti, annihilator of anti social elements and destroyer of follower of vice.
Bhagwan Prashuram set an example of absolute devotion to father and was adored as an incarnation. He also established a path of universal welfare and for this, he used scripture as well as weapon, Durganand Jhan added.
Present on the occasion were Lalit Shrama, Vicky Sharma, Trishanu Roy, Ashok Dadhichi, Beni Shankar Sharma, Chandan Pandey and others.
