Jamshedpur: Members of Yuva Jagruti Manch have accused the district education department of putting the future of children at risk.
They alleged that the children were not provided books even after three months of commencement of the academic session. They also pointed out the faculty crisis in schools.
In many schools, there are no teachers to teach maths and science, they said.
A delegation of the outfit members led by Prince Singh and Rakesh Sahu met the district superintendent of education and handed over a memorandum to him demanding books and recruitment of teachers in government schools across the district on Wednesday.
