Jamshedpur, June 15: All OPD services running in the old MGM hospital located in Sakchi, Jamshedpur have now been closed.
The hospital management also closed the OPD of the Pediatrics department on Saturday, with which the OPDs of all departments have now been shifted to the new hospital building. This change will be effective from Monday, June 16.
However, emergency services will continue to operate in the old hospital building as before. The hospital administration said that Pediatrics, Gynecology, General Emergency and ICU services will continue in the old hospital.
For these services, the emergency counter will remain open 24 hours in the hospital, so that the patients do not face any inconvenience. Patients coming in emergency situation will be given admission facilities as before.
The registration counter located in the administrative building of the old hospital has also been closed. Now this counter will also function in the new hospital premises from Monday. On Saturday, the hospital administration pasted a notice near the OPD and registration counter of the pediatric department, in which it was informed that all OPDs will now be operated in the new hospital building. This step has been taken for the convenience of the patients and to avoid confusion.
