Ranchi: The work on online road permit has begun in Jharkhand. The state commercial tax minister Rajendra Prasad Singh today inaugurated the online road permit system Sugam (P). He said the new facility will be known Sugam (P). He said the facility is available to all people of the state. He said the facility will be made compulsory from 16th October, 2013.
Manual permits will not remain in force once the online system comes into effect. He said the online permit will be available for a period of three days. For a city, the permit period will be of 24 hours. The secretary of commercial tax department MR Meena said registered traders could go to the official website created for the purpose of providing the facility to the people.
