State to get archery academy soon

Ranchi: An archery academy will be opened in the state. This was said on Thursday by Chief Minister Hemant Soren during a felicitation ceremony organized to honour noted archer and trainer Purnima Mahato. He said there is no dearth of archery talent in rural areas. He said the state government was committed to the cause of sportspersons. He said the government was planning to set up an archery academy in the state very soon so that the archers could be motivated and trained for a bright future of the game and the players.
