Jamshedpur, Dec 14: One person died and two sustained injuries when two bikes coming from opposite direction collided in the outskirt of the city on Monday.
In Sundernagar thana area, two bikes dashed head-on near Nildungri area leading to one youth dying on the spot while two youths were seriously injured. The injured youth have been identified as Yash and Tarun Kumar both resident of Chandil in Seraikela-Kharsawan district and were returning after attending marriage function of a relative at Potka when the mishap took place.
In other minor mishap incidents, an uncontrolled Hyva entered house of Pankaj Patro in Gongadih under Kowali thana area of Potka block. Fortunately, there was no casualty as nobody was in the house during the time of incident. After the mishap, driver of the Hyva fled from the spot.
A Hyva and JCB earthmover also dashed against each other along Adityapur-Kandra Road on Monday morning. However, no casualty has taken place in the mishap.
