Jamshedpur, Dec 6: The official T-shirt for the Great Jharkhand Run and the 5th Jharkhand State Masters Athletics Championship 2025 was released today at Elite Gym, Ghorabandha. The launch marked the beginning of preparations for the upcoming sporting event that aims to promote health, fitness and competitive spirit among athletes of all age groups.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by Masters Athletics Association of Jharkhand Chairman Gurdev Singh, President Vijay Singh and General Secretary Sanjeev Kumar Tomar. Also present were Joint Secretary Sanjeev Kumar, Sports Officer Ananya, former international athletes Kewal Singh and B. Marandi, along with senior players R.P. Pandey, Balbir Singh and Harbhinder Singh.
The 5th Jharkhand State Masters Athletics Championship will take place on December 13 and 14, featuring master athletes from across the state. Participants will compete in various track and field events, showcasing skill, strength and sportsmanship.
The main attraction of the event, the Great Jharkhand Run 2025, is scheduled for December 14 at 6:00 AM. Organisers are expecting enthusiastic participation from runners of different age categories.
Registration is mandatory for all participants, and the last date to register is December 10, 2025.
