Jamshedpur, Dec. 22: Nuagram village of Potka is the first place to start cashless campaign said the panchayat head on Thursday.
Local public representatives jointly declared it as a village hundred percent covered by the campaign. Head of the Panchayat Mati Savitri Sardar, Pansas Urmila Samas and Village head Saroj Kundu said by referring to the manifesto handed over to deputy collector of CM camp office, Sanjay Kumar that minimum one member of 118 families present in the village has been trained for digital banking. The entire village has been transformed into a favourable cashless place.
Profiles of the villagers have been uploaded in the portal. Some of them said that they are glad to see that their village is following up with the technology. They even said that they will keep training the villagers who will face inconvenience.
The villagers extended their vote of thanks to the district administrative, learning center directors and deputy collector. Among those present on the occasion included Utpal Mandal, Virendar Kumar, Asim Pramanik, Tarun Kumar Dey and Anup Kumar.
After 20th November, deputy collector of CM camp office, Sanjay Kumar initiated to train the villagers for cashless campaign.
