Jamshedpur: NSS volunteers of Karim City College today launched on a cleanliness awareness drive in Kapali village. They made the villagers including children wash their hands with soap while explaining the benefits of cleanliness.
During the second session, classes in the New Primary School were divided into segments for men, women and children separately. Detailed information on cleanliness, blood donation, personality development and AIDS, deaddiction, our problems-our solutions and other similar topics were provided. The volunteers answered questions to the satisfaction of the villagers.
NSS unit chief Dr SK Anwar Ali along with Saiyad Parvez coordinated the program. Senior NSS volunteers Rinku, Amara, Amit, Shyama, Sanjay Solomon, Saurav, Sushmita and others were present during the cleanliness drive attended by more than 100 villagers.
