Jamshedpur, March 14: Congress party has termed the foundation laying ceremony of a bridge over Domuhani along with nine road projects by Chief Minister Raghubar Das-led Jharkhand government as a blow to the democratic system in the country.
According to a press communiqu� issued by Dr. Ajoy Kumar, national spokesperson of Indian National Congress, on Monday, the road construction department of the state government, which is responsible for the construction work, did not invite Rajya Sabha Congress MP Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu and this was a step against the people�s representative.
The BJP-led state government also committed a blunder by not inviting Bahragora MLA Kunal Sarangi, who is also a people�s representative from East Singhbum district.
The state government is deliberately ignoring the opposition leaders and this reflects the undemocratic practices of this government, the release said, adding that soon the government will soon have to pay the price for it.
