Jamshedpur, May 6: Nikhil Kundu of Std. IV B bagged the �Best All Rounder of the�Primary Block� during Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) annual prize night of primary block.
The students from Nursery to Std. V received prizes for their achievement in Scholastic as well as Co Scholastic activities.
The Special Awards given away included: Vishwajit Kumar won the Leadership Award, Ujjwal Pandey bagged the Most Talented Student, Anubhav Prateek took the Outstanding Analytical Temperament, Nikhil Kundu also won the Outstanding Singer & Outstanding Artist award.
Sarthak Humane was the outstanding Tabla Player; Ashree Dubey was awarded for Outstanding Classical Dancer while Nikhil Kumar Kundu bagged the Best�Student of the Primary Department. The award ceremony was followed by a cultural programme presented by the students.
They put up a vibrant western dance and a classical dance for the audience. Earlier was inaugurated by Deputy Director, Income Tax (Investigations) who graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Srimanti Sen, Chairperson, School Managing Committee, was the Guest of Honour in presence of School Secretary, Treasurer and�Principal Namita Agarwal.
The programme ended with a speech given by the Chief Guest who praised the students for excelling in academics and motivated the students to continue to win laurels and to keep the JPS Banner flying high while the programme concluded with the school song sung by the students and teachers.
