Jamshedpur, May 7: Girls from Loyola school showed their exemplary talent to beat DBMS Kadma 22-16 in the final to crown the Inter School Basketball Champions.
Kriti Ribelo of Loyola earned the maximum 10 points. The tournament organized by Jamshedpur Basketball Association at JRD Tata Sports Complex saw Hilltop beat KSMS 29-19 in the boys category final.
Yakub of Hill Top was the top scorer netting 14 baskets. At the prize distribution ceremony Charles Borromeo, Head Sports, Tata Steel was the Chief Guest.
BFI Refree Suchinder Singh and Vijay Kumar were also felicitated for their contribution to Jamshedpur Basketball.
To make the event successful Secretary of Jamshedpur Basketball Association Pradeep Mukherjee, Md. Wasim, Nizam Ali, S Haque, Jones Joseph and Alan Peter played vital role.
Also present at the event were Firoz Khan, Suprabha Pandey, Sajjad Khan, Yogesh, Rakesh Mahato and others.
