NHES students excel in sporting events

Jamshedpur, Nov. 3: Sports constitutes an important part of the school curriculum. The students of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) have excelled in different fields of sports.

Raj Kumar Singh Sardar of class 4 won the silver medal in the ASISC Zonal Badminton Finals and gold medal in the Regional Badminton Championship. He has been selected to participate in the ASISC National Badminton Championship to be held at Hyderabad on 7th & 8th November.

The school volleyball team won the Jyoti Volleyball Championship organized by DBMS School, Kadma. Five Students – Akhlaqur Rahman, Aadarsh Vishal, Dipak Kumar Mahato, Tanveen Kaur & Anamika Singh were selected to participate in the ASISC Regional Volleyball Championship held at Bhagalpur.

Out of the three students, Akhlaqur Rahman, Aadarsh Vishal & Anamika Singh have been selected for the National Volleyball Championship to be held at Hyderabad.

In the Jogga Volleyball Championship the team from NHES comprising Akhlaqur Rahman, Aadarsh Vishal, Dipak Kumar Mahato, B. Nachiketa, Abhay Kumar, Sukhbir Singh, Abhishek Kumar, Subham Singh, Subham Kumar, Simardeep Singh Bhatia, Harmeet Singh & Snehil Verma were declared the overall winner in the Senior Category. The Principal Paromita Roy Chaudhury congratulated the team members for their excellent performance.
