NHES celebrates International Peace Day with creative fest

Jamshedpur, September 22: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) celebrated International Peace Day by organizing an Intra-School Fest aimed at promoting peace, harmony, and compassion among students. The event brought together students, faculty members, and school leaders to showcase creativity and meaningful expressions of peace. The celebration was graced by Nakul Kamani, President of the school, members of the managing committee, the Principal, and other distinguished guests.

The fest featured a series of thought-provoking events designed to engage students across different disciplines. Some of the highlights included Madvertise, where peace was presented as a product; Soulence, showcasing peace through dance; Bio Morohosis, a quiz on peace; Chemical Bridges to Peace, exploring peace as a catalyst for harmony; and Cyber Security for Peace, featuring presentations and coding activities aimed at promoting compassion in the digital world.

Other events included Numeric Navigator, Echoes of Peace, Empowerment to Harmony, A Day of Hope, Shanti Prabha, Eco Run, The Art of Peace, and Sound of Silence, each designed to encourage students to express peace through science, art, music, and technology.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Paramita Roy Choudhury said, “Peace is not just the absence of conflict; it is the presence of compassion, understanding, and togetherness. Our students today have beautifully demonstrated how peace can be expressed through science, art, music, technology, and everyday actions.”

Prizes for the events were presented by Nakul Kamani, President of the school, Kilol Kamani, and Chandrakant Zatakia, Treasurer of the school Managing Committee. The celebration highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing a culture of peace and empathy among its students, while encouraging them to explore creative ways to promote harmony in their communities.
