Young minds are nation’s greatest strength: Jharkhand Governor in Baharagora

Jamshedpur, June 10: Emphasizing the importance of education, values, and responsibility among the youth, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar stated that “educated, cultured and responsible young people are the greatest strength of the nation.”
He was addressing the ‘Pratibha Samman Samaroh 2026’ held at Dev Vatika in Baharagora, where meritorious students who excelled in the Class X and XII board examinations were felicitated.
The event was organized under the guidance of former BJP state president Dineshanand Goswami and witnessed the participation of students, parents, educators, and local dignitaries.
Congratulating the awardees, Governor Gangwar said that the greatest asset of any society is its talented youth. He stressed that education should not be confined to securing employment but should also focus on character building, social awareness, and nurturing a sense of responsibility towards the nation.
Highlighting the immense potential of rural India, the Governor noted that talented students are present in every corner of the country and only require proper opportunities, guidance, and encouragement to shine.
He described such recognition programmes as a source of inspiration for future generations and a platform to motivate young achievers.
Urging students to set ambitious goals and work relentlessly towards achieving them, he remarked that becoming a good human being is even more important than becoming a successful individual. He encouraged them to uphold humility, moral values, and cultural traditions while using their knowledge and talent not only for personal growth but also for the welfare of society and the nation.
Expressing confidence in the youth of Jharkhand, Governor Gangwar said that through their hard work, talent, and values, they would continue to bring pride to their families, communities, the state, and the country.
Following the ceremony, the Governor shared a meal with the students and interacted with them personally, discussing their aspirations, future goals, and career plans while encouraging them to continue striving for excellence.
