Jamshedpur, June 10: Jamshedpur FC youth teams are preparing to compete in the upcoming Jamshedpur Sporting Association (JSA) league season. The reserve team coached by Kaizad Ambapardiwalla will take part in the premier division of the competition while youth team coached by Shakti Singh will take part in the A Division of the competition.
The teams have been training and preparing for the tournament for almost a week in Jamshedpur. The reserve Team is aiming to build on an impressive campaign last year that saw them enter the semifinal.
The same team had reached the quarterfinals of the AIFF U18 Elite League held in Punjab in April. They would be aiming their development in one of the city’s most competitive football tournament, which will serve as pre-season tournament ahead of the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Jamshedpur FC’s Youth Team will compete in the A Division under the guidance of coach Shakti Singh. The competition will provide a valuable platform for the club’s young prospects to gain competitive match experience and showcase their abilities against quality opposition. Most of the players are in the U16 age group.
The JSA League has long served as an important pathway for emerging footballers in the region, and Jamshedpur FC remains committed to providing its young players with regular competitive opportunities as part of the club’s player development structure.
Head coach Kaizad Ambapardiwala believes that the tournament will give good opportunity for the players ahead of the season and is aiming to get the best out of his players.
“The JSA Premier Division is an important competition for our young players. It gives them valuable game time against experienced opposition and helps bridge the gap between youth football and the professional level. Last season was a positive one for us, and we are looking forward to another competitive campaign where our youngsters can continue their development and gain confidence.”
With the city-based football tournament nearing, Jamshedpur FC youth teams are preparing for a positive start for the upcoming season.
