New Jamshedpur DTO Dhananjay assumes charge

Jamshedpur, Aug 2: Dhananjay has taken over as the new District Transport Officer of East Singhbhum district, succeeding Dinesh Ranjan. Dinesh held the position since August 8, 2018, completing a commendable tenure of five years.

Outgoing DTO Dinesh Ranjan expressed gratitude and heartfelt thanks to all the senior and fellow office bearers and workers. He acknowledged the tremendous support and cooperation he received from everyone during his time as the Administrative Officer in East Singhbhum district, describing it as a highly memorable and valuable learning experience.

During the tenure of Dinesh Ranjan achieved remarkable milestones in revenue collection. Notably, they surpassed the revenue target consistently, achieving an impressive collection of 165 crore against target of Rs 160 crore in the financial year 2019, Rs192 crore against target of Rs 184 crore in 2020. In the year 2021, the revenue collection stood at 204 crores against target of Rs 194 crore, and in 2022, they achieved an impressive collection of Rs 212 crore against the target of Rs 206 crore.

The new District Transport Officer, Dhananjay, is expected to continue the office’s commendable work and further enhance the efficiency and performance of the East Singhbhum District Transport Office.
