Jamshedpur: Shiksha Jagrukta Rath Yatra to be flagged off from Mango

Jamshedpur, Aug 2: An upcoming initiative “Shiksha Abhiyan Jagrukta Rath Yatra” (Education Awareness Rath Yatra) is set to kickstart from Mango, Azad Nagar Main Road on August 8. The primary objective of this campaign is to foster education and raise awareness about its significance in the region. This was informed by Motahir Hussain and Dr Afroz Shakeel, representatives of the Abdul Hannan Memorial Educational and Welfare Society. The Rath Yatra aims to conduct a widespread awareness drive, focusing on promoting education, particularly among underprivileged children. Additionally, the campaign will also provide free distribution of educational materials to drug-addicted and marginalized children.

Efforts will be made to identify those children who had to discontinue their studies due to financial constraints and endeavor to reintegrate them into the mainstream education system.

Rafat Ara, the in-charge of the women’s wing, sharing details about the Shiksha Rath, said that during the zone-wise yatra we plan to use street plays as a creative way to educate children about the importance of education.

With a strong emphasis on reaching out to the vulnerable sections of society, the campaign seeks to create a brighter future for all children, ensuring access to quality education for everyone.
