Need to keep the underprivileged connected to society: Lalit Das

Jamshedpur: The convenor of city-based social organization Samarpan, Lalit Das, shared the joy of Holi with the inmates of RP Patel Cheshire Home at Sundernagar on Monday.

The inmates were served food on the occasion by the outfit members. They were also given gulal, abir, pichkari, caps, fruits and snacks on behalf of the NGO. Some of the inmates also smeared gulal on the face of Lalit Das and wished him for the festival.

In a bid to increase familiarity with the inmates, Lalit visited the Cheshire Home premises and spoke to them. He wished the inmates and staff of Cheshire Home on the festive occasion. He said there was need to keep the underprivileged and downtrodden people connected to the society.

Many people were present during the event. They included Subhasini, Catherine, Utsah, Geeta, Fatima, Johanna, Gabriela, Sweta, Pradip Dubey, Papu Mishra, Kamlesh Sahu and Abhay Choubey.
