Jamshedpur: Members of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by Vivek Singh today held a protest against the Hathras incident in Uttar Pradesh where a Dalit girl was gang raped and murdered. The NCP protesters burnt the effigy of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Bhuinyadih roundabout. Amidst anti- UP government slogans the protesters demanded that the victim�s family be provided security and that the President and Prime Minister institute a CBI probe instead of SIT investigation. The NCP protesters demanded that the criminals be apprehended soon and tried in a fast track court and be awarded capital punishment. The NCP protesters comprised Rahul Singh, Dipak Majumdar, Shubhodip Bose, Kanhai Gorai, Saurabh, Shekhar, Sunil, Chandan, Subhash, Satyam, Ranvir, Santosh, Vikas, Rohit, Anmol, Badal, Prince Gupta, Satendra Gupta, Sushil and others.
