Ranchi, March 15: Jharkhand Draupadi Murmu on Tuesday said that when the nation, towns and villages are made smart and it can�t be done without making the children smart.
They are the future of the nation and educational institutions should responsibly foster true education so that they can carry out their duty in building the nation. The Governor said it while paying a visit to Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Deoghar, during her return journey from Santhal Pargana.
Laying stress on making the children self-reliant, the Governor said that they should learn to extend a helping hand in social work. She said that social work is often discussed in the society and inspires others to do it. According to the Governor, good thoughts will lead to good output.
Summoning people to keep their surrounding neat and clean, she said that �Clean India Campaign� should be made a grand success.
She said that girls should also realize their power and be ready to face the challenges. The children of the school performed a cultural program also on this occasion.
