Journalist Association meet focuses on unity

Jamshedpur, March 15: Senior journalists of Jamshedpur openly expressed their views about journalists and journalism in the city on Tuesday. Several points were discussed during the Jamshedpur district meet of the Jharkhand Journalists Association.

Senior journalist Shakti Vrat Choudhary was the observer of the meet and informed about the activities of the organization.

Ajay Mahato, president of the organization, assured the journalists of diagnosing their problems. Another senior reporter Shambhu Shrawan stressed on the unity among the journalists, saying today the journalists can take their rights by being unified.

Brajesh Singh from the state committee stated unity among journalists as positivity. He said, �As an organization we are stronger and should move forward by being united.� Journalist Mukesh appreciated the efforts of the organization saying it is for the first time that reporters from the block-level of Jharkhand have been organized.

On the directions of the president, spokesperson Praduman Mishr introduced the senior reporters to the observers of the organization. Many senior journalists, including Bimlesh Mishra, Raghuvansh Mani Singh, Shankar Agarwal, Brajesh Singh, Jitendra Singh, Inderjeet Singh, Mohammed Akbar, Santosh Kumar, Abhijeet, Murtaza Rizwi, Prabhat Kumar, Goutam Ojha, and Devanand Singh expressed their views and appreciated the good work done.

Shakti Vrat Choudhary informed about the basic facilities that a journalist should get. Prabhjan Singh from Ghatshila informed about the issues they face at the block-level, while Brajesh Singh and district committee general secretary Manish Sinha assured all to find a solution by remaining united.
