Jamshedpur, Jan 28: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) conducted annual sports day at Gopal Maidan on Saturday, January 28.
The Sports event was declared open by the Chief Guest Padma Shri Premlata Agarwal.
An overwhelming participation from all the Students made this event special and memorable.
The event began with the march past presented by students of Std VII, VIII and XI. This was followed by a colourful drill display by the students of Std III, IV and V on the theme of ‘75 years of Indian Independence’.
Students from Std I to IX exhibited a wide range of skills in yoga and karate.
The chain of events continued with many track events ranging from 800 metres to 100 metres race and 4x 100 metres relay race.
The prizes were distributed by the Chief Guest, Vice Principal and the Management Committee Members.
Agni House was declared the overall champion and Surya House won the Best March past award.
