Narbheram Hansraj English School honours Nurses

Jamshedpur, May 12: International Nurses Day was celebrated in Jamshedpur on Thursday. Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) students and teachers visited Meditrina Hospital and applauded the services rendered by the nurses and felicitated the health workers.

Nurses Day coincides with the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. The theme for this year’s Nurses’ Day is “Nurses: A Voice to Lead-Invest in Nursing and respect rights to secure global health”

School Principal, Paramita Roy Chaudhury said, “The work of nurses to care for patients with COVID-19 and other diseases throughout the pandemic has shown that they are no less important than doctors. The event at Meditrina Hospital was just a step taken to pay tribute to these unsung heroes.”
