‘Nani Bai Ro Myro’ performance moves Shyam Devotees in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, August 17: The 16th Annual Shyam Mahotsav, organized by Shri Shyam Bhakt Mandal Parsudih, was celebrated with great fervor on the auspicious occasion of Sawan Ekadashi at the Co-operative Society Colony near Parsudih Haat Bazaar. The event, hosted by Preeti and Akash Agarwal, featured a series of devotional events, including a Puja conducted by Pandit Gopal Shukla, who also tied Raksha Sutra to all devotees.

The evening’s Bhajan program began with Shri Ganesh Vandana and featured a mesmerizing performance of ‘Nani Bai Ro Myro’ by local artiste Prem Agarwal and his group, with Priyanka Agarwal playing the lead role. Bhajan presentations by Sheetal Kataruka from Purulia, local Bhajan singer Harjeet Singh Hira, and Rajendra Raj had the mesmerized devotees dancing late into the night. The renditions were dedicated to Baba Shyam, Bhole Baba, and Hanuman Ji.

The Maha Arati of Shri Khatu Shyam Ji was performed at 2:30 AM, followed by the distribution of Prasad, which included 56 types of Bhog (Chhappan Bhog). Despite heavy rain, the Bhajan program continued till 2:00 AM, with devotees fully immersed in the spiritual atmosphere.

Guests included BJP leader Rajkumar Singh, social worker Rajendra Raj, and Zila Parishad Vice-President Pankaj who, along with the large number of other devotees paid their respects, and received blessings at Khatu Shyam Baba’s court.

The organizing team comprised Ratan Agarwal, Bijay Agarwal Biju, Akhilesh Agarwal, Manoj Agarwal, and several others, along with the women’s team of the Shankar Agarwal organization.
