Jamshedpur, July 31: Martyrs like Shaheed Udham Singh will always remain alive and relevant in the history of Indian freedom struggle. This was observed on Wednesday by Amarpreet Singh Kale, founder of city-based outfit Naman, at a function held in Sakchi to pay tributes to the great martyr.
Addressing the gathering, Kale said Udham Singh and numerous other martyrs had sacrificed their lives for the country�s freedom. Today�s generation is deeply indebted to these martyrs for their unforgettable contribution to the freedom struggle, he said.
Paramjeet Singh Kale, another speaker, said the young generation should give up their petty and selfish pursuits for the service of the nation.
Other dignitaries present during the programme included Rajiv, Varun, Pappu Rao and Brijbhushan Singh.
