Jamshedpur, Sep 16: Steel City Karate coach Shihan L Nageshwar Rao has been appointed the technical official by CISF for 7th All India Police, Judo Cluster Championship 2022 to be held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi from 19 to 24 September, 2022.
CISF has appointed Rao, a black belt who is associated with the sport for over three decades, as technical official on reference of Sports Authority of India (SAI).
Chief Coach at Tata Steel Karate Training Centre cum General Secretary, Jharkhand State Karate Do Association and Vice President, Karate Association of India L Nageshwar Rao is the only technical representative from Jharkhand.
Nageshwar Rao also attended Khelo India University Games, organized by Sports Authority of India as technical official, held at Bengaluru from 30th April, 2022 to 2nd May, 2022.
Earlier in the month of March, 2022 Rao was appointed as Technical Secretary in Delhi Olympic Games (Martial Arts), organized by Delhi Olympic Association.
51-year-old Rao has undergone advanced training under grandmasters in Japan.
