Jamshedpur, Oct 28: Marwari Yuva Manch (MYM) Steel City branch’s women’s wing, Surabhi, honored 32 mothers of newborn girls at MGM Hospital by presenting them sarees, utensil sets, biscuits, sweets, toffees and milk bottles for girls.
This Surabhi initiative has been taken as part of a campaign to welcome every girl child with love and affection as girls are boons and not curses. “A daughter is a beautiful flower that does not grace everyone’s garden. Nurture a girl child for she belongs to the tribe of mothers,” observed Surabhi president Manisha Sanghi and secretary Kavita Agrawal. The team also included Parul Chetani, Usha Chwdhary and other members.
