Jamshedpur: FTS Yuva Jamshedpur marked the auspicious occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi by organizing a wheelchair distribution programme under its “Wheels of Hope” initiative at Kumir village in Patamda, reaffirming its commitment to serving the underprivileged.
As part of the programme, a wheelchair was presented to Kalpana Pramanik, the mother of FTS volunteer Kartik Pramanik. The initiative aims to improve the mobility, independence, and quality of life of beneficiaries while enabling them to carry out their daily activities with greater dignity.
The organization said this was the second wheelchair distribution drive conducted by FTS Yuva Jamshedpur this month, reflecting its continued efforts to reach out to people in need through meaningful social service initiatives.
The event was attended by FTS Yuva Jamshedpur President CA Sourav Sonthalia, Raunak Sonthalia, Raunak Saboo, Coordinator Vikas Sharma, and Chapter Project Head Manik Barik.
Addressing the gathering, the speakers said that the “Wheels of Hope” initiative represents much more than the donation of a wheelchair. “It is a medium to instill self-reliance, dignity, and renewed hope in someone’s life,” they said.
