Jamshedpur: Rajya Sabha MP Pradip Balmuchu met the family members of the five year old girl of Chhota Govindpur who was recently raped by a truck cleaner. He met the victim�s father and assured to help him get justice.
Balmuchu went to Steel Strip Wheels company with the local residents and sought financial assistance, compensation and job for the victim�s family. He said the company should bear the expenses of the victim�s education, marriage and maintenance. He said Rs 4 lakh should be fixed in the girl�s name on humanitarian grounds and a permanent job should be given to her father.
The head of administration of the company, Mahavir, reportedly gave consent to give Rs 3 lakh to the victim and assured to take steps for the remaining Rs 1 lakh on his Jamshedpur visit after three days.
