Public appeal against open defecation

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) conducted a search operation against open defecation in the low-lying slums of the city on Tuesday. Several people were caught and warned against defecating in the open. An appeal was made to the people through mike to abstain from open defecation. People were asked to use toilets. Those not having toilets in their households should get them consulted, he said. The campaign was led by the city manager of JNAC S Mehandi.
