Jamshedpur: The three day Touch Therapy camp organized by the Jayaswal Samaj concluded today. More than 550 patients were relieved of their ailments by renowned Touch Therapist from Chandigarh Virendra Sharma.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony, NEP Director Ranjana Mishra observed, In this scientific age treatment through Touch Therapy is nothing short of a miracle. People seek relief from their various ailments through scientific medications. As compared to that, a mere three minutes of touch heals long standing and chronic ailments. This is indeed miraculous.
City SP Prabhat Kumar expressed his awe at cure through Touch Therapy. I too wanted to avail of this Therapy but official commitments prevented me from taking this treatment, he said.
This was Virendra Sharmas first visit to the steel city. He was accorded a public felicitation. He was presented an Anga Vastram, memento and a wrist watch by the president of the Jayaswal Samaj Gyanchand Jayaswal. The Samaj president informed that the next Touch Therapy camp will be conducted from June 11 to June 13, a proposal to which Virendra Sharma had agreed.
In his observation, Virendra Sharma stated, In todays working milieu and lifestyles, following a disciplined life becomes difficult. As a result, men complain of cervical related problems while women suffer joint pains. Such persons should mix two spoons of alum powder in tepid water and put their feet up to the ankles. This process should be followed thrice or four times a day. This process relieves pain.
BJP Nagar president Gopal Jayaswal, Laghu Udyog Bharati chairman Rupesh Katiyar, Prakash Sharma, Dukhram Jayaswal, Shyam Narayan Jayaswal, Madhuri Jayaswal, Madhvi Jayaswal and many others were present during the closing ceremony.
