Jamshedpur, February 18: City traders Monday joined hands to make the three-hour token bandh called against Pulwama terror attack successful. A majority of commercial establishments remained closed in protest as planned by the traders.
Members of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by its president Ashok Bhalotia, members of Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce and other trade organizations participated in the bandh.
The protestors raised anti-Pakistan slogans and condemned the attack on CRPF jawans. They said Pakistan was directly behind the dastardly act.
Among those present during the agitation included Gautam Chandra Golchha, Suresh Sonthalia, Vipin Bhai Adessara, Mohan Lal Agrawal, Harvinder Singh Mantu, Rajesh Agrawal, Manish Agrawal, Akash Sah, Ramesh Ganeriwal, Sanwarlal Agrawal and Ritesh Agrawal.
