Jamshedpur, Oct 24: OLDER restructured hospitals are revamping their facilities to keep up with the health-care needs of Jamshedpur�s growing population.
The upgrade of facilities at Jamshedpur eye hospital (JEH) in Sakchi was some good news that the local residents had been long waiting for. On the evening of 23 October 2013, the Sakchi based JEH formally inaugurated additional upgraded facilities and systems.
Surekha Nerurkar (Chairman-JEH) was the Chief Guest on the occasion and was accompanied by Sunil Bhaskaran (Vice President-JEH) and other members of JEH society Managing Committee.
The upgraded facilities elaborated in the program included Modern equipment-Phaco machine, automatic defibrillator and multi-parameter monitors for better treatment.
Low Vision Clinic- a new facility for assessment of patients whose eyesight cannot be improved. New token system with audio visual display similar to one in use at TMH.
Anesthetist in attendance during surgeries for enhanced patient safety. Renovated cabins with aesthetics interiors and new seminar room with LCD projector and regular CME.
