Jamshedpur : A 10-member team of Adhunik Disaster Relief Force (ADRF) concluded its relief operation in village New Golabandha of Rangailunda block of Ganjam district of Odisha which was hit by the cyclone Phailin.
The needs identified through community consultation facilitated the team to focus on health aspect and supplementation of food items and accordingly a mega medical health check-up camp was conducted at UPG School, New Golabandha wherein 139 villagers including 61 males and 78 females underwent free health check-ups and provided with free medicines.
A total of 504 of households were provided with relief kits at New Golabandha village whereas a follow-up health camp at UPG School, New Golabandha where in 94 persons including 57 males and 37 females underwent free health-check up and medical treatment.
The team was led by Tushar Bhattacharya, disaster management expert and Rajesh Ranjan, Group Head, CSR, Adhunik group.
