Mobin Khan files nomination from Jamshedpur West

Jamshedpur : Mobin Khan, who is known for contesting four Lok Sabha and two Assembly elections, and losing security deposits on all occasions so far, filed his nomination for the Jamshedpur West assembly constituency at the district collectorate on Friday.

Mobin, a resident of Sakchi who garnered 5,400 votes in the last Lok Sabha elections and polled 2,500 votes in the 2009 assembly polls from the Jamshedpur West constituency. However, this time he will contest from Aap Ka Hamara Party a non recognised party.

Like every time this time too I will fight the election. I have been fighting alone as an Independent. However, this time Aap Ka Hamara Party (headquarter in Ranchi and formed in 2013) approached me and I agreed to contest in their name. Since it is not recognized by the Election Commission of India, technically I will be contesting as an Independent, said Mobin Khan.

Mobin said that he has a group of supporters who motivate him to contest every year. I want people to give me a chance to serve them. People of Jamshedpur West especially minorities have seen the performance of both national and regional parties at the state in the last 14 years. I want them to give me a chance, added Mobin.
