Jamshedpur, July 30: A workshop aimed at helping mothers of pre-primary students to get proactive in guiding their children was organised by Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) on Saturday.
Teachers of the school taught mothers how to guide children improve their writing and communication. The school also plans to make willing parents partners in the teaching process. To reinforce safe practices, a safety quiz was also conducted on this occasion, where mothers participated with great enthusiasm.
The school hopes that this way they will be able to improve offerings for students. All the teachers of pre-primary joined hands to make this program a success.
Winners of the safety quiz were Gargi Saha, Lakshmi Ojha, Sudha Sharma, Sheeta Dhamal and Apurva.
Simultaneously in another workshop organised specially for the Science teachers of the school, the Head of Department of Biology Balaka Dutta along with P.K.Pandey and Shompa Banerjee, demonstrated live examples which can be used by the teachers in teaching science effectively to students at primary and middle school level. The activities demonstrated were well appreciated by the Principal Ashu Tiwary and all other teachers who attended the workshop.
