Jamshedpur, Oct 19: Ahead of the Chhath Puja, Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu inspected several artificial ghats in the Burmamines constituency on Sunday. During her visit, she met local residents and Chhath Puja committee members to check festival preparations and understand the challenges being faced at the ghats.
MLA Sahu emphasized that the convenience and safety of devotees are the top priority. She coordinated with relevant departmental officials over the phone, issuing instructions to ensure smooth arrangements. Key areas of focus included cleanliness, timely water supply from tankers, adequate lighting, security measures, and proper changing facilities for women devotees. She expressed confidence that all arrangements would be completed on time to provide a hassle-free experience for the devotees.
Accompanying her during the inspection were MLA representative Gunjan Yadav, former BJP district president Rambabu Tiwari, BJP Burmamines Mandal president Suraj Singh, OBC Morcha president Sagar Rai, Ritesh Jha, Satyendra Rajak, along with several workers and local citizens.
