MLA Deepak Birua’s initiative brings electricity back to Lokesai village

Chaibasa, June 22: Lokesai village, under Jhinkapani block, witnessed the restoration of power supply as MLA Deepak Birua took prompt action to replace a faulty 25K transformer. On Thursday, in response to the villagers’ request, MLA Deepak Birua inaugurated the new transformer by performing a coconut-breaking ceremony. The villagers had been facing a power outage for the past two weeks, causing significant inconvenience.

The head of Jorapokhar Panchayat, Gurcharan Munda, conveyed the issue to MLA Deepak Birua, who promptly intervened. MLA Baidu immediately contacted the Electricity Department’s officer and instructed them to provide a new transformer and restore electricity in Lokesai village. The department swiftly acted upon the MLA’s directives, ensuring the timely resolution of the power supply problem. During the event, MLA Deepak Birua also became aware of the water-related issues faced by the villagers and urged them to conduct a diagnosis promptly. He assured the residents of Lokesai that all damaged pipelines would be repaired at the earliest. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Pradeep Tamsoy, the head of Jhinkpani block, as well as Gurcharan Munda, Suresh Munda, Shiva Chowdhary, Baru, Chhotu, Chabra, Bhogeshwar Hembram, Ramesh Gop, Raghunath Hansda, Onamo Gop, Baby Gop, Padmani Gop, and Sabita Hansda.
