Jamshedpur, Feb 9: The dead body of Sanjay Chutel, the missing supervisor of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC), was found floating in the Subernarekha river near Domuhani under the Sonari police station area on Tuesday. The victim’s brother Sagar Chutel identified him from tattoos on his hand.
According to information, the victim had a tattoo on the left hand `Kamini,’ the name of his mother and in another tattoo on the same hand was inscribed `Trishul’. As Sagar knew about the tattoos, he had identified the body on the basis of these tattoos. Kadma police station OC, Manoj Thakur confirmed about the recovery of Sanjay’s body.

” The supervisor was missing from past one week we had been carrying search operation however a body from the Subernarekha river on Tuesday noon.  We had shifted the body to the MGM Medical College mortuary for post-mortem. We summoned the family members concerned. The body was identified as that of Sanjay Chutel by his younger brother Sagar on the basis of two tattoos on his left hand at the mortuary,” said Thakur .
He informed that some local residents had seen the body floating in the river and had informed the Sonari police station. Later, the Sonari and Kadma police together had recovered the body.
Father of a five-year-old child, Sanjay who was a resident of Kadma had gone missing after he had left his home having dropped a suicidal note early on Thursday morning. In the suicidal note he had said that he loved his wife and son very much, but now the time has come to leave the world.
As the suicidal note and his cell phone were found at home much later, his father had lodged a missing person report with the Kadma police station the evening. Â The same night, the deceased’s wife had lodged a written complaint alleging a senior officer of the JNAC, Saurabh Kumar to be responsible for her husband’s drastic step.
Sudha Devi had claimed that Saurabh Kumar would harass her husband and had also threatened disciplinary action against Sanjay. On Friday morning, a group of 50 JNAC cleaning staff had also demonstrated in front of the Kadma police station demanding either tracing out Sanjay or arrest of Saurabh Kumar.
