MGM paramedic students on indefinite fast

Jamshedpur, Nov 27: State owned MGM Medical College and Hospital agitating paramedical students (including 30 girls) today sat on indefinite fast in front of the district collectorate office.

The students enrolled for the two-year paramedical course at MGM Medical College in Dimna who did their internship at the Sakchi hospital have been on strike since November 21 after being rebuffed by the state health minister Rajendra Prasad Singh during his visit to the city on November 20 when the student presented their demand for stipend, hostel facility, guarantee of service and proper study atmosphere.

“We are in state of shock don’t know what to do we have no option said a student.”
