Jamshedpur, Feb 28: Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) has launched a door-to-door garbage collection campaign in Mango.
According to Suresh Yadav, Executive Officer of MMC, “We have started the garbage collection drive in over 25 localities of Mango. More than 15 tippers and other vehicles have been pressed into service.”
The facility has been started at Old Purulia Road, Gunmoy Colony, Daiguttu, Road No. 17, Tank Road, Olidih, Road No. 4 and 6, Hill View Colony, Chandravati Nagar, Dimna Basti, Gurudwara Road, Psot Office Road, Vaikunth Nagar, Paras Nagar, Sanjay Path, Subhash Colony, Sankosai Road No. 1 and Gokulnagar, sources said. Yadav said the campaign was started to ensure cleanliness everywhere. He appealed to citizens to dispose household refuse in proper manner and avoid throwing them here and there.
