Jamshedpur, April 5: Deepali Machua (18) committed suicide by hanging herself at the house of Ram Singhal, a resident of Samridhi Enclave, located in Contractors area under Bistupur police station. Ram came to know about the incident when he went to Deepali’s room in the morning. Deepali did not open the door even after calling several times. Ram informed the police about this. After getting the information, the Bistupur police reached the spot, broke the door of the room, removed the body from the trap and sent it for postmortem. Deepali has locked herself in the room and hanged herself with a scarf.
Ram Singhal is a CA by profession. He had gone to Delhi for work. When he returned on Tuesday night, it was Deepali who gave him food. After having food everyone went to their respective rooms. When everyone woke up in the morning, they found that Deepali’s room was locked. Knocked on the door several times but Deepali did not open the door. In the end, the police was informed about this, after which the police broke the door and took out the dead body. Ram told that wife and children live at his house. Deepali used to stay and work at his house for the last one and a half years, but they are not aware of why she committed suicide suddenly.
Deepali’s mother Buki Machua told that they live near Parvati Ghat. She was the second among three daughters. She came home on March 30 but she never told about any problem. After staying in the house overnight, she went back the next day.
