Jamshedpur, April 5:: Amit Gupta, in-charge of Nimdih police station of Seraikela-Kharsawan district, has been sent to police line following directive of Kolhan DIG Ajay Linda.
It is said that the DIG had found several disciplinary irregularities against him, after which action has been taken against him. SP Ashutosh Shekhar, in-charge of Seraikela-Kharsawan district has confirmed this and told that this action has been taken on the recommendation of DIG.
Earlier, Gamharia police station in-charge and many other station in-charges have also been removed on the orders of the DIG. There were many complaints against Nimdih police station in-charge, on the basis of which this step has been taken. With such swift action, the question has started to arise whether the DIG dominates the officers in the district or the SP.
