Jamshedpur: Students of Loyola School, Telco delivered an outstanding performance at the CISCE Zonal Yoga Championship 2026, held at Sri Krishna Public School, Bistupur, on June 22 and 23, bringing laurels to the institution through their remarkable achievements.
Competing against talented participants from various schools across the region, the Loyola contingent showcased exceptional discipline, flexibility, and technical excellence. The pair of Smriti Das of Class VI-A and Karoleen Maria Joseph of Class VII-A emerged as champions in the Rhythmic Pair category, winning the Gold Medal with a graceful and perfectly synchronized performance. Their balance, coordination, and artistic presentation impressed both judges and spectators alike.
Adding to the school’s success, Antra Chauhan of Class VII-C and Roshni Kumari of Class VI-A secured the Silver Medal in the Artistic Pair category. Their creative routine and technical precision earned high appreciation from the adjudicators.
Anmol Raj of Class IX-C also excelled at the championship, winning Silver medals in both the Artistic Single and Traditional Yoga events, further enhancing the school’s medal tally.
The students were trained under the guidance of teacher-cum-coach Nitu Singh, whose dedication and mentorship played a vital role in their success.
Congratulating the winners, the school management praised their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. The management noted that such achievements inspired fellow students and reflected the values of discipline, determination, and consistent practice.
