Loyola School Jamshedpur wins RV fest ‘Leozara’

550 students from 13 city schools showcase talent

Carmel Junior College declared runners-up.

Jamshedpur, Sept 3: Rajendra Vidyalaya Sakchi witnessed a remarkable display of talent and diversity during “Leozara,” the RV fest. More than 550 students from 13 schools in Jamshedpur came together for a day filled with creativity, competition, and camaraderie.

In its 6th edition, Leozara proved to be a platform for students to showcase their skills and talent in various disciplines. From music and dance to quizzes and literary excellence, the event catered to a wide range of interests.

 

Highlights of the fest included “Choreomania,” where students enthralled the audience with captivating dance performances, “Fusion Fiesta,” a band event, and “Crescendo,” a DJ battle that had the audience rocking to the tunes of young, talented musicians.

Other events such as “Cognitare,” the quiz show; “Krienger,” the gaming event; “Inquest,” the biology quiz; “Bash,” the business show; “Tesseract,” the math quiz; and “Wisen,” the sci-fi quiz tested participants’ intellect and knowledge. Artistic prowess was put to the test in events like “Ataraxia,” “Ad-venture,” “16 frames,” and “Statusque.”

The various events were judged by both professionals and alumni of RV who are now experts in their respective fields. The fest also featured food stalls, providing an all-encompassing experience for both participants and the host school.

The event concluded with a grand award ceremony, where winners in various categories were honored. Loyola School claimed the winner’s trophy, while Carmel Junior College was declared the runners-up.

Principal Jayanti Singh extended her congratulations to the winners and praised the fest’s organization, led by teacher Kiran Sinha, school student president Khush Agarwal, and the entire Team Leozara, for their wonderful and successful event.

Earlier, Dr SK Singh, Vice President of Bihar Association, General Secretary Chandra Prakash Narayan Singh, Principal Jayanti Singh, Vice-Principal Piyali Mukherjee inaugurated the event.

Vice President Singh emphasized the three Cs: collaboration, cooperation, and confidence.
