Jamshedpur, Sept 3: Badminton Association of India (BAI) has nominated K Prabhakar Rao, Joint Secretary of BAI and Honorary Secretary of Jharkhand Badminton Association (JBA), as Observer for Yonex-Sunrise 45th Junior National Badminton Championship (U-19).
The championship is schedule to be held at Bengaluru, Karnataka from 7th September to 12th September.
Jharkhand players (boys and girls), who have been qualified to represent the state in the five-day championship, are-U-19 Boy’s Singles: Niraj Keshri, Harshit Raj. U 19 Boy’s doubles: Ankit Gope, Priyanshu Tirkey. U 19 Girl’s Singles: Sarah Sharma, Vaibhaviman.
U 19 mix doubles: Harshit Raj & Yogita Bora. U 19 doubles: Sarah Sharma & Yogita Bora
Priyanshu Tirkey and Ananya Singh got direct entry from East Zone, for the event.
Rahul Kumar and Ashok Joshi will be the coach and manager of the team.
