Lost children return home

Chaibasa, Sept. 16: Child protection activist PLV Vikash Dodrajka on Saturday said that three children from Gua who planned to travel the around the country reached Kolkata. But the trio found that their money got over and started working in a hotel for money where some of the social activists of Kolkata found these children and handed over to child welfare committee and the same was intimated to Vikas Dodrajka, Chaibasa after verifying the status from the children.

The children were brought to Chaibasa through child helpline, the three children were produced before the Chaibasa committee. Vikash Dodrajka said that counseling of the children is going on and soon they will be handed over to their parents at Gua and committee is arranging to admit the children in residential school. District child welfare officer Jyotsna Tirkey said that the guardian should remain cautious as the children psychology is growing in the direction is worry-some family problem. The children are at present kept in Balkunj. Committee member Vimala Hembram said that we would make our sincere effort to rehabilitate the children.
